Successful Conclusion of Arabic Language Training with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The Kenya Institute of Foreign Languages and Professional Studies (KIFLAPS) recently held a highly impactful Arabic language training program from August 19th to August 22nd, 2024.
The four-day training was facilitated by distinguished trainers, Mr. Abdullah Saad Alamri and Mr. Ali Mohammed Hakami, from the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language, and saw the participation of 30 dedicated learners.
This training aimed to enhance participants’ proficiency in the Arabic language and expose them to advanced methodologies in language acquisition. The participants benefited from a series of interactive lessons that focused on core linguistic skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The trainers introduced the latest tools and practices for mastering the Arabic language, making the learning experience both enriching and engaging.
The presence of esteemed guests, including the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Kenya, added to the significance of the event. The collaboration between KIFLAPS and the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language has further cemented the relationship between Kenya and Saudi Arabia in promoting the Arabic language and culture. This partnership has also led to the introduction of the Hamza Test for Arabic proficiency, making KIFLAPS the official partner in Kenya to offer this renowned test.
Participants expressed their gratitude, noting that the training has not only improved their language skills but also enhanced their appreciation for Arabic culture. The successful conclusion of the program marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration, with both institutions committed to promoting Arabic education in Kenya.
KIFLAPS extends its deepest appreciation to His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, for his leadership in propagating the Arabic language globally. The institute is looking forward to more fruitful partnerships that benefit both countries.
