Fluency in four weeks
Anybody selling that is selling the word, not the skill. A level is about twelve weeks and gets you one honest rung of the ladder.
How we teach
Teaching here runs on a handful of habits we do not bend: place people honestly, keep the room small enough that everyone speaks, and finish every level with something you can prove.
The habits
A free 45-minute placement check decides the room you sit in. Starting too low wastes your money, starting too high wastes your confidence, so we check first and start once.
Sessions are built around output: every learner talks in every session, not just the loudest three. That only works if the room is small, so we keep it small and add a round rather than a row of chairs.
Roughly twelve weeks, one CEFR level, a final assessment at the end. Nobody is rushed from A1 into B2, and nobody pays for a level they have not finished deciding about.
Native and near-native speakers, examiners, and working translators. The person at the front has used the language in the world the programme is preparing you for.
Every level ends in an assessment you have already paid for. The external exam (DELF, Goethe, HSK, JLPT, IELTS) is your choice: sit it when an employer, university or embassy asks for proof.
The shape of a level
Placement check, right level, right Cohort, round chosen. Day one stops being a guess.
Weekly sessions with your Cohort and your Instructor. Practice happens in the room, out loud.
About twelve weeks in, a final assessment marks the level you have actually finished.
Next level, an external sitting, or a pause. You choose that with a result in your hand, not a brochure.
The other list
Schools that promise everything are usually describing their brochure. Here is what stays off ours.
Anybody selling that is selling the word, not the skill. A level is about twelve weeks and gets you one honest rung of the ladder.
The room stays small on purpose. If a round fills, we open another round; we do not add chairs to the back.
The level ends in an assessment that is marked. Pass it and the certificate means something to the person reading it.
See it yourself
Tour a session, meet the instructors who run them, or sit the placement check and watch how the first forty-five minutes go. The proof of a school is in the room, not on the page.
